A few days ago, one of the blogs I follow made mention of a removed piece (self-censorship after notification) of dA art by !Krensada (https://www.deviantart.com/krensada) because it infracted on the ToS. Nothing special, you'd say, but the surprise was that it was a piece of art targeted against atheists, and the author got notified by the admins because it was pretty hateful (especially the related Author's notes). My personal policy about images I find offensive is "As long as it's not outright criminal, there's a back-button for a reason". But as we all know, dA has the right to enforce the rules they seem fit, and who am I to think I know better? ;) A few days later,

...non disputandum est. In other words, what I like might not be what you like. But it seems as if some people at dA want to force their "what I like" one everybody else. I just found out that the great deviant Levlord got banned. And for what? For complaining about the rediculous length somebody at dA seems to have gone through to remove many of his deviations. Most of them needed some serious twisted thinking to find fault within the ToS. It looks as if free speech isn't as free as one would think. But then again, freedom is slavery, right?
